Auvergne — Volcanic

A micro-estate located in the Puy-de-Dôme, south of Clermont-Ferrand, Le Clos Luern follows a rigorously defined approach. Its “volcanic” red wines are crafted from Gamay d’Auvergne grown on basalt soils, while the whites come from a recent planting of Chardonnay on a high-altitude clay-limestone plateau.

Arnaud Dupouyet and Lionel Libeyre have chosen organic viticulture and as natural a winemaking approach as possible, allowing the remarkable Auvergne terroirs to express themselves fully.
The red Tigerno, aged in amphora, offers a crisp, vibrant profile, while the white Aurore is a revelation, with its texture, lively acidity, and complex aromas.

These artisanal wines—true jewels of Auvergne—stand proudly alongside those from the most prestigious regions.
