Refund Policy

Defective Bottle

Is your bottle defective? (corked, oxidized, etc.) Refunds and returns are handled by the SAQ.  The agent cannot issue refunds for bottles.

Please keep your receipt

You may obtain a refund by presenting your receipt at the SAQ within 12 months of purchase.
You must submit your request either in store or through SAQ Customer Service at 514-254-6000.
You will then receive a return authorization, after which you may bring the defective bottle back to the store along with your authorization number.

The bottle must be at least three-quarters full.

Agency Fee

Agency fees, or service fees, are billed separately. These fees are related to our wine selection work and our customer service.
We can refund the agency fee associated with the defective bottle upon presentation of proof of return to the SAQ (photo).
