Hélène Dion
Agent Papilles is the essence of my passion:
the pursuit and sharing of everything that is good and beautiful.
It all began in my early childhood. My father was a beekeeper who would have people taste his honeys, much like I do today with wine. Meanwhile, my mother, an artist, introduced me to the world of ceramics in her studio.
I began my academic journey with a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Concordia University. Yet something within me kept drawing me back to honey, to taste, and to the art of the table.
In 2001, I pursued formal training as a wine consultant sommelier at the University of Wine in Suze-la-Rousse.
And from there, everything unfolded.
I worked in the restaurant industry, then as a wine columnist, taught sommellerie at ITHQ, and served as Director of Public Relations for a leading French wine company. Driven by a desire to experience every facet of the profession, I also had the privilege of working in both the vineyard and the cellar of a Québec winery—connecting with the craft at its very source.
For me, Agent Papilles represents the culmination of all these years devoted to my passion for discovery and my desire to explore the world.

If a second life were possible, I would be a chef.
The joy of cooking has been rooted in me since childhood,
growing up with parents who loved to entertain generously.
Agent Papilles is the second life I’ve created, an expression of the passion that drives me. My mission is to bring forward the work of winemakers and artisans who transform the everyday into something extraordinary.
I have always been a natural connector and a team player, driven by a deep appreciation for people in all their complexity—their talents as much as their challenges.
Today, the team has grown to include winemakers from around the world. Nothing is more inspiring than supporting them all the way to the realization of our shared ambitions.
Creating, together, emotions to be savored.
